A Blast From the Past!

Here is a quote from a poem by Charlie Chaplin I stumbled across, it hit home.

"As I begin to love myself, I quit stealing my own time and I stopped designing huge projects for the future. Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, Things I love to do and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm. Today I call this Simplicity." - Charlie Chaplin

The art of photography brings me so much joy and happiness, capturing your moments in fun and unique ways makes my heart cheer! As a photographer I am constantly looking for ways to add a personal touch to my work. Recently I have been letting my polaroid camera tag along for my sessions… There is something so timeless about a polaroid. Capturing moments, untouched. unedited as they where. I have a thing for realness and my own photos are never overly edited or altered. I love delivering realness to my clients and capturing their authentic emotions and beauty within my photos.

I started taking a simple polaroid at the end of my sessions for an instant preview of what is to come. The feedback has been wonderful, clients have told me how nice it is to receive something immediately. It helps with the anticipation of waiting for their photos to be finished my editing process.

Interested in hearing more about my editing process? I am an open book. Let’s chat!
