Positive Vibes

“It is only in our darkest hours that we may discover the true strength of the brilliant light within ourselves that can never, ever, be dimmed.” – Doe Zantamata

I believe it is so important to find joy in the little things. With so much hardship and grief we are facing. It can be a struggle to keep ahold of a positive mindset. I'll admit I sometimes struggle with this as well, I feel we all do on some level.

As a photographer/artist I have always found beauty in the simplest of moments. I often find myself observing my environment and getting lost in the beauty that surrounds me. Peoples interactions, the way the grass blows in the wind, the sunrise/sunset etc... I live for these happy little moments. This is what I try to capture in my work. To help others see the world through my eyes.

My advice for anyone struggling to find some light in these dark times is to simply slow it down. Soak up every happy moment as they pass. Really take the time to embrace the moment fully remember the sounds, smells, sights and how you feel in that moment in time. Fall back in love with life. Even if its simply enjoying a nice walk in the park. Life truly is a blessing. Calling out small moments of joy and contentment can help flip your mindset to a more positive state. This is a powerful tool you can never overuse.

Happy Little Moments

Have you ever had a moment that you felt overwhelmed with how simply beautiful it was.

You start to take it all in. Memorize this moment in time because you don’t want to let it go.

You stop. Listen to the sounds surrounding you, feel the breeze, the chill in the air or heat upon your skin. You notice the scents you didn’t notice before. Your senses fill up with this moment as it passes.

You slow down.

Suddenly things that may have been stressing you out no longer seem so important. This beautiful moment helped you gain new perspective.

The only thing that matters is right here right now.

Take it in.

Capture it.
