"Helping others is the way we help ourselves" - Oprah Winfrey
The #Frontstepsproject was started by a talented photographer in Boston Massachusetts named Cara Soulia, who encouraged other photographers to participate.
The idea is to capture families during this pandemic and help spread some joy using the art of photography! I loved this mission and wanted to participate and help families in any way I could.
I did not ask for payment for this project, instead I simply asked to donate to the Open Arms Mission and help out our community and families in need. I loved seeing all these wonderful families from the appropriate social distance. I used my zoom capable lens to get a little closer with out actually leaving the sidewalk or road.
Due to the state of emergency called this weekend, I will no longer be participating in this project for the time being. I still encourage donations if you are able to help out. Every little bit helps.
If you would like to have me capture your family when we are no longer in a state of emergency I would be happy to do so.
